Lamac Engineering has been performing boundary surveys in the region for over 60 years and therefore has developed an extensive network of records and field survey control information that is available to our clients. Establishing a legal property boundary in the field is often more complicated than showing the client their fence so rely on our Registered Land Surveyors for professional quality service.

GIS Applications

Lamac Engineering provides a wide range of GIS services that are increasingly used by units of local government. GIS mapping provides local governments an efficient and effective method of managing, tracking, and monitoring condition assessment of infrastructure assets such as sewers, water lines, streets, storm sewer, and similar assets. Attributes for each asset can be tracked and used for analysis. In addition, GIS can be used to map, analyze, and provide a wide variety of data for items such a zoning, hazard mapping, special assessment districts, land use, and land parcel data. Lamac Engineering can provide GIS system set up services, system maintenance, location services, condition assessment, analysis, studies, and software training.

GPS & Machine Control

With the advancement of technology in the construction industry, Global Positioning Systems (GPS) has become a necessity at the construction site as well as traditional boundary surveys. GPS services available at Lamac allows for streamlining and minimize field time, which in turn, lets us pass on these savings to the client. Lamac operates the latest Trimble robotic and GPS field equipment and software to offer complete electronic layout and staking services. Lamac Engineering also develops digital terrain modeling for contractors that utilize machine controlled grading equipment.

Topographic

Topographic and engineering surveys are often times used for our own designs as part of the overall project. We do however perform this service for other engineers, architects, and contractors and can provide the digital field survey information in a variety of industry standard computer formats.

Mortgage Inspection

This service is typically performed for lending agencies and Lamac Engineering is glad to offer this service. A mortgage inspection is essentially a simple property survey to verify apparent property boundaries and structure locations.

Land Title Surveys

Lamac performs land title surveys primarily for clients who are making significant commercial or industrial improvements to the property. These surveys can be very detailed and must adhere to stringent requirements by ALTA/ACSM.

Possession Surveys

Lamac Engineering performs possession surveys to verify property possession and settle boundary disputes. We also offer professional expert testimony.
