Layout/StakingLamac operates the latest Trimble robotic and GPS field equipment and software to offer complete electronic layout and staking services. Traditional stakeout is also still available. Lamac Engineering is also in development of offering digital terrain modeling to provide to contractors that utilize GPS controlled grading equipment.InspectionBasic construction inspection to protect the owner or developer’s interest in the project is an important service for today’s construction industry. Lamac has several trained engineering technicians with years and a variety of construction inspection experience to offer to the industry.Materials TestingLamac Engineering offers various materials testing services for owners and contractors on construction projects. Primarily we deal with soils, concrete and asphalt. We operate two Troxler nuclear gauges for soil moisture and density and asphalt density testing. We also offer concrete compressive strength testing as well as air and slump.QC/QA ServicesQuality control and quality assurance of construction projects is sometimes required by specification or regulation to insure the project is constructed in accordance within the specified guidelines and standards. Lamac can offer these services and also network with other specialist and laboratories for specialized materials testing. |
